Wanna watch The Academy Awards live online with your computer, laptop, or tablet? I found a sneaky way to do this that very few people know about. It really is pretty easy to watch this year’s Oscars live on the Internet, but you will need a few things. Don’t worry I’m gonna completely hook you up and give the steps you will need to complete in order to pull up a live streaming video feed of one of the biggest award ceremonies of the year.
Here’s what you need.
1. A High-Speed Internet Connection. Ok, so this is a no-brainer, but I want to keep this as simple as possible to accommodate everyone that will be reading this blog post. So bear with me if some of this information seems elementary.
2. PC, Mac, Tablet, or Smartphone. Yes, this is going to work with computer or smartphones. You won’t need the latest and greatest operating system, as this method will work fine with even Windows 98.
3. A TV Watching software program. There are a few out there, but honestly one stands out above the rest. You can get it right here. Basically, it is a software that once installed on your computer, will allow you to watch TV live. And, of course the Academy Awards will air Feb. 26th at 7pm EST on ABC.

I have no idea why it isn’t more well-known. It actually works very well for me, and when I came across the website, I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical. It just seems kinda “salesy” to me. Like used car salesman, info-mercial, or something.
But, I downloaded it anyway, and much to my surprise, within about 5 minutes, I was watching my favorite TV show live on my computer. Needless to say, I was also thrilled to find out that I had access to over 3000 online streaming channels, which let me watch sports, movies, TV shows, history, news, weather, music videos, entertainment, and a lot more that I haven’t even got to yet. Mainly, I use it to watch TV shows.
The only negative point that I could make about the software is that some of the movie channels don’t work 100% of the time. However, I noticed that the company makes an effort to cleanup their playlist from time to time, so that some of the non-working channels get replaced with ones that work.
